Our intervention supports include:
Special Needs Support
For children and families. We help to identify the unique needs of the family and make sure that children and youth have supports identified by the immediate and extended family.
Kinship Supports
Our main goal is to keep families together. We focus on First Nations family systems. We look to parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and Nation Members. More than 99% of our kids or youth in care are with a First Nation family.
Supports for Children’s Special Allowance
We help families apply for financial bridge supports for up to three months as parents are getting reestablished.
Repatriation Services
Helping families work together across provincial boundaries. We work with families, Nations, and YTL advocates to help bring kids and youth home.
Yellow Thunderbird Lodge offers wraparound supports to keep our children, youth, and families safe and healthy.
We look for reunification at all stages. We know our People's healing journeys are evolving and we meet people where they are at. We work together across protection, prevention, and we help our youth in care transition to adulthood.

YTL Protection Services can be accessed by people from all of our Member Nations for yourself or on behalf of someone else.
